haha.  and i just gave this website out to like 10 people at school.

so the new wordpress page is up.  and i hate it.  i know not what the hell i am doing.  soon i will just change the web address of this site and keep this.  i like it better.  maybe if i can teach myself html, MAYBE i will use wordpress.org.

i used to feel a tech savvy.

turns out it was all in my head.

sucks.

so confusing the 2 wordpresses.  but i do have my own domain which differs a little in the title.  i will be found at www.andromeda-arts.com as soon as i figure all the stuff out.  if i’m not back online with new posts soon, call caffinatedelf and get help.  haha!!  no, really, my friend rob is helping me, but his time is limited (freakin’ grad school) and i might have to stumble through this all alone…*sniff*

because i don’t want ot carry my nice digital around….

i have tried. i have tried to make the birthday cake. i love to bake, and now that i have a stand mixer (thanks mom!) i love to bake even more. occasionally, i succeed in the birthday cake department. i made my mom a sweet 2 layer strawberry cake for her birthday last month. the thing is, i should not, under any circumstances, try my hand at any sort of writing, roses, pictures, or anything that could possibly be made with ribbons of coloured frosting. inevitably, it always comes out looking like a “halloween cake” as mom put it. the lettering is straight out of a haunted house.

good thing i know these things about myself. my son loves basketball and i am sure that at some point i would have tried to make him a basketball cake if i thought i was any good at decorating. i’m sure it would have looked like this.

they are right: next year, just buy the cake.

i sit. pondering what an earth i could have to say to cyberspace. what is my tone? what is my….Shtick? i am not as engaging and funny like Jessica is over at Kerflop. I think and rethink everything i type. the [delete] will be worn out in a year, maybe less. and i don’t type fast. my lil fingers get tired. and don’t even try to get on my about capitalization and proper punctuation. [the shift] key and i have a civil, but not overly friendly, relationship. (it’s just jealous of the time i spend with [delete].)

so be prepared to:

• be enthralled with my adventures at college with tales like “really, i have to take that class again?“. let’s not for get the lore of “the girl who had too much attitude for even art school!“.
• also, my wonderful, loving, intelligent, handsome, yet crazy energetic 3 year old might be the topic of a post or 2.
• purses! purses! purses!! i plan on setting up an etsy shop come the summer. i will be posting new purses that i make from time to time, plus other crafts i happen to find time to do. i just want to finish school so that i can sew!! all the time, sew!! screw art history, let’s thread some bobbins. (i’m a total party. can you tell?)
